A Pilgrimage of Becoming
Glastonbury Reflections under the Full Moon in Scorpio.
Today, as the Full Moon in Scorpio reaches its peak, something stirs.
This isn’t just another lunar phase. Scorpio moons are alchemical. They ask us to let go of what no longer serves, to face what’s hidden, and to surrender to transformation, even if we don’t yet know what we’re becoming.
And so, beneath this moon’s illuminating gaze, I feel called to reflect on a quiet, powerful journey I took on the 22nd of April: a soul-led sabbatical to Glastonbury.
Following the Whisper
Two months before, without fully understanding why, I felt the pull.
There was no logic, only intuition - a deep inner knowing that I needed to go.
So I set the date, trusted the timing, and followed the call.
Glastonbury greeted me with sacred stillness. I walked the Tor at sunset — and again before sunrise.
Climbing the spiral path felt like walking through a personal metamorphosis.
With each step, I released something.
With each breath, I made space for what was quietly waiting to emerge. As the sun rose through the arch of St Michael’s Tower, I stood in silence.
It felt like a blessing.
Not loud. Not grand. But exact, ancient, and deeply felt.
Sacred Sites, Sacred Shifts
Over the following days, I visited:
Glastonbury Abbey, where echoes of legacy and spiritual devotion linger in the ruins.
The Chalice Well and Gardens, where the sacred feminine flows gently through water and root.
The White Springs, where shadow meets surrender in candlelit silence.
St Mary’s Gardens, where peace, grace, and quiet beauty invite soft beginnings.
I wasn’t there to “do” anything.
I walked. I listened. I allowed the land to speak.
Each site offered a different note in the song of remembrance.
A Threshold Between Chapters
I turned forty earlier this year. And 4 months in, I sense the deep rearranging that age and awareness bring, not through dramatic shifts, but through quiet integration.
Glastonbury became the bridge between chapters.
Not the end. Not the beginning.
But the sacred middle, where we let go of what no longer fits and allow what’s next to root.
This pilgrimage mirrored the energy of the Scorpio moon now overhead.
Both speak of cycles. Of shedding. Of renewal through release.
Scorpio Full Moon: Transformation in Stillness.
Scorpio governs death, rebirth, intuition, and truth beneath the surface. It doesn’t settle for surface-level healing. It goes deep. And so does this moon.
Tonight, I feel that energy resonate. What Glastonbury revealed to me then, this moon confirms now:
Transformation doesn’t always come with fireworks.
Sometimes it arrives as breath. As stillness.
As a quiet sunrise through a stone arch.
Living by Intuition, Rooted in Trust.
This journey, both to Glastonbury and into my 40s, has deepened my devotion to a life led by divine timing, not just logic.
To a path where intuition is my compass.
To sacred pauses that aren’t interruptions, but initiations.
I didn’t come back with a plan.
I came back with peace.
And under this Full Moon in Scorpio, I honor that peace as sacred.
To You, Reading This:
May this moon meet you gently.
May it reveal what’s ready to be released.
May you find courage in your own becoming.
And may you trust — deeply — that the path will unfold, step by step, in divine time.
