To Save or To Serve

A New Paradigm in How We Share Our Gifts.

There is a profound difference between choosing to save and choosing to serve.

To save often comes from a place of urgency, of believing we must rescue the world or the people around us. It carries the energy of being a saviour — stepping in uninvited, assuming others are not capable, or projecting our own need for purpose onto those who may not be ready or may never have asked for our help. Even when driven by compassion, saving can become a subtle form of control, or a way to fill the emptiness within ourselves by becoming “needed.”

To serve, however, is different. To serve is to meet life as it is. It is to answer the call of the moment, the question of the person before you, or the quiet request of a community that says: we are ready now. Serving requires humility. It does not demand that we fix, change, or save. It asks only that we be present, listen deeply, and respond with what we have to offer.

This is the new paradigm — the shift in consciousness that many of us are being called into. Humanity does not evolve through saviors, but through communities of people willing to serve in love, awareness, and authenticity.

How This Shapes Our Retreats

For me, this is not just philosophy. It is the way I choose to live and work. I do not create retreats, programs, or trainings simply because I think they “should” exist. Instead, I wait until I am asked. Sometimes it is a single email, sometimes a repeated question, sometimes a group of voices rising together with the same longing.

When that happens, I listen. And if I can, I serve.

This is exactly how our next Montenegro Retreat has been born.

Montenegro Retreat, Summer 2026

Over the past year, while I devoted time to Love Life School of Yoga, I received many messages: “When will there be another retreat in Montenegro?” The call was clear, and so with gratitude and excitement, I am opening a waitlist for our return to the Ashuma Center in August 2026.

Ashuma has always been a sanctuary for our work — and now, with the addition of a sauna and plunge pool, it is even more deeply aligned with the spirit of renewal.

This will be our third retreat in this sacred space, and we look forward to creating another five-day immersion in yoga, meditation, creative expression, and community.

The waitlist is our way of honoring those who feel called, without pressure or expectation.

  • Being on the waitlist does not require a deposit and does not guarantee your place.

  • What it does is place you in priority contact: when dates and prices are confirmed, you will be the first to receive the details.

  • If the retreat aligns with your life, you can secure your space with a deposit. If not, you may gracefully step aside and allow another to join.

This way, there is no saving, no pushing — only serving. The retreat exists because you asked for it, and it is offered to those who are ready.

An Invitation Beneath the Full Blood Moon.

As we approach the Full Blood Moon on 7th September, a time of release, transformation, and powerful clarity, I invite you to reflect: Are you being called to save, or to serve?

If you feel the resonance of service — to yourself, to your path, to your unfolding journey — then perhaps Montenegro is waiting for you too.

Join the waitlist. Allow yourself to be guided. And together, under the sun and stars of Montenegro, we will create a retreat that serves the soul, the body, and the beauty of life itself.
